Challenges: Approaching design with the consideration of the sociological and ethnic complexities of a given area

New Orleans is a city known to have high levels of social vulnerability yet its community's resilience surpasses its setbacks. Hurricanes have become a symbol of domed in the city. My proposition for this project is to provide the other perspective on hurricanes; the one where the city's resilience is the protagonist.

The wall storm is known to be the area with the strongest wind while the eye of the storm is calm and full of light. By taking inspiration from this contrast, this project aims to represent the inner resilience of the city that rises up and creates from its adversities.
